About me,

I began my formal piano training with Tatyana Tolmacheva as a four-year-old at The Music Settlement. At a similar age, I additionally began learning guitar with Jim Miller, which would provide me with years of experience in both classical and rock performance, improvisation, and composition. Additionally, I have played trumpet and bass for many years, with some woodwind excursions.
Being in my basement as a kid meant I could use the keyboard's internal recording feature to play Wii tunes by ear, and analyze their harmonic and overall compositional structure. These years served as self-structured composition and ear training lessons, eventually leading to many subsequent years of experimenting with my own music in Logic Pro and Sibelius as a high schooler.
Currently, I am wrapping up my undergraduate degree in music composition for media with Nancy Galbraith, Nathaniel Blume and Jeffrey A. Hinkelman at Carnegie Mellon University. During my time in Pittsburgh, I have continued to maximize time as an active musician, and have performed/recorded with The Blazing Daisies, Getaway Driver, Mr.Dr, Z-Nemo, and Funky Lamp.
